About Hannah
Modern Haircutting, Taught Intentionally.
Trends evolve. Fundamentals do not.
I've spent 15 years behind the chair and 12 years in front of a classroom, and the same question keeps coming up: why do some stylists cut with confidence while others are still guessing years into their career? It usually comes down to one thing…they never learned the structure underneath the style.
I leaned into haircutting specifically because I saw the need for it. Hair color has taken the main stage for years, and somewhere along the way, trim culture took over (quick, safe, forgettable cuts that don't ask much of the stylist or the client). Elevated, customized haircutting started to feel like a forgotten art. I wanted to bring it back.
I started cutting hair at a small, two-chair salon in Bethlehem, with a foundation in barbering that taught me precision before anything else and led me into a deeper understanding of haircutting, holistically.
From there I kept chasing that structure wherever I could find it: multiple apprenticeships with cutting specialists, education for Ouidad, and training under names like Sam Villa, Anh Co Tran, and other celebrity stylists. In July 2026 I'll be adding French haircutting to that list. Every one of those rooms taught me the same lesson from a different angle and that trends fall apart fast if you don't understand what's underneath them. So that's what I teach: not JUST a haircut, but the logic behind it, so you can build any haircut a client asks for.
Over the past 12 years I've trained apprentices from the ground up, watching that same shift happen again and again: the moment a stylist stops copying and starts understanding. That's the moment they stop guessing and start leading.
In 2022 I co-founded Soigné Salon, and in 2024 I started my own education company to take that same teaching outside the salon walls. Today I teach through 1:1 coaching, small private classes, and large public classes.
If you're ready to build that same foundation, I'd love to have you in one.
